Foster Care is caring for children who cannot live with their own families. Foster carers provide a home for children who are unable to live safely with their own family. They provide a secure, safe environment that caters for the physical and emotional needs of young people ranging in age from birth to 18 years.
Foster care can be for short periods or long term, or as respite care on weekends either at the carer's home or another location. These types of foster care mean that carers do not need to be available full-time. Many carers combine the challenging and rewarding work of fostering with other commitments.
Here is a short ad promoting the need for Foster Carers. Join us in seeking more good families to provide support for children in your community. Send a link to this ad by email to someone you know may be interested.
